Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what his policy is on use of grant funding provided by his Department to third parties to lobby his Department.

The Department’s policy is that grant funding should not be provided to third parties to lobby the Department. Since May 2017 the grant agreements with third parties specifically state in the terms and conditions that this is not eligible.
