Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:
To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, what reports he has received on the current situation of Taiwanese activist, Li Ming-Che, who has been sentenced to five years in prison by Chinese authorities for subverting state power; and what representations he has made with respect to that activist.

The FCO is aware of Li Ming-Che's case and in April 2018 my officials met his wife, Lee Ching Yu, who updated us on his situation. We have not made any recent representations to the Chinese authorities regarding his case.
