Question to the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport:

To ask the Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, what progress has been made on the recruitment of board members to the National Citizen Service Trust; and what assessment his Department has made of the effect of the time taken for that recruitment on the conversion of the trust to a royal charter body.

We are currently in the process of recruiting a Chair and other non-executive board members for the National Citizen Service Trust Royal Charter body. The advert for the new Chair role is due to close on the 25th April 2018. In order for the new organisation to go live, the Chair and at least 8 non-executive Board members must have been appointed.
