Question to the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport:

To ask the Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, what steps the Government is taking to reduce (a) regional and national oversight, (b) quality assurance, (c) evaluation (d) central marketing and (e) other non-core operational delivery costs for the National Citizen Service.

NCS Trust is the independent delivery body for National Citizen Service and has responsibility for the activities listed. DCMS agrees the NCS Trust annual budget following a rigorous assessment of the Trust’s spending plans to ensure that the programme is managed efficiently and delivers value for money to the taxpayer.
