Question to the Department for Business and Trade:

To ask the Secretary of State for Business and Trade, what estimate his Department made of the expected revenue from steel tariffs in the first year of operation; how that revenue will be accounted for; and whether it will be reinvested in (a) the steel sector and (b) related industries.

The central purpose of the trade measure is not to raise tariff revenue, so we have not made any such estimate.
