To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, pursuant to the Answer 26 March 2018 to Question 133275 on Right to Buy Scheme, if he will set out the data that he has refused to publish for the reason that it quickly falls out of date in each year since 2010.

As stated in the answer to Quesion PQ UIN 132538 on 22 March 2018, and Question UIN 133274 on 26 March 2018, the Department does not publish this information, because it quickly falls out of date. This is due to operational reasons, as the 167 local authorities that have made relevant sales since 2012 have to estimate the amounts due, which are then made more accurate as a result of periodic review and reconciliation exercises. Since local authorities regularly review their data under the scrutiny of their external auditors, it is not possible to fix a deadline after which we can be confident that no figures will change.
