Question to the Ministry of Justice:

To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, pursuant to the Answer of 23 February 2018 to Question 128599, what the grounds were for each of the 419 cases of dismissal of Band 2 to 5 staff from prisons in England and Wales in 2017.

1 Since January 2017, information regarding dismissals as a result of medical inefficiencies have been recorded as unsatisfactory attendances. Therefore, these categories have been combined.
