Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, how many British military personnel are operating in Syria; from which regiments did they come from; and where in that country those personnel are based.

Approximately 600 RAF personnel are deployed across the Middle East, supporting and conducting counter-Daesh operations over Syria, in support of partner forces on the ground.
