Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:

To ask the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, what assurance he can give councils that funding for ongoing housing programmes funded from the housing revenue account will not be compromised by necessary fire safety works.

Where work is necessary to ensure the fire safety of social housing, we will ensure that lack of financial resources will not prevent it going ahead.
