Question to the Department for Work and Pensions:

To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, for what reason he rejected recommendation 10 of the Independent Review of the Child Maintenance Servicer response to domestic abuse published on 17 January 2023.

The Government recognises the importance of developing clear plans for implementation of the independent review recommendations and believes the best way to monitor progress and ensure effective delivery is through the Department’s existing robust delivery mechanisms.

The Government has accepted 8 out of the 10 recommendations and is committed to taking these forward.
