Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, pursuant the the Answer of 15 January 2018 to Question 121748, what criteria her Department uses for setting overseas student fees if visa income is not differentiated between the various categories in which they are received.

The Immigration Act 2014 is the primary legislation which gives the Home Office statutory powers to set fees for all immigration and nationality applications. The relevant sections of the Act relating to fees are 68 to 70 which can be found on pages 58 to 61 of the following link.
