Question to the Ministry of Justice:

To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, how many Band 2 to 5 staff have (a) resigned, (b) been regraded, (c) been transferred and (d) been dismissed from prisons in England and Wales in 2017.

The number of band 2-5 staff in the Prison Service in England and Wales who have either resigned, transferred, been dismissed, or have been re-graded in 2017 are provided in the table below:
