Sudan: Deportation

Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, whether he has made an assessment of the danger to non-Arab Dafuris sent to Khartoum after having their asylum claims rejected in the UK.

All asylum and human rights claims from Sudanese nationals are carefully considered on their individual merits, and in accordance with our obligations under the Refugee Convention and European Convention on Human Rights. Those who have been found not to need protection are refused have a right of appeal to the independent courts.
