Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:
To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, what assessment he has made of the effect of the deployment of Egyptian troops to Eritrea on Eritrea-Ethiopia relations.
This question was answered on 26th February 2018
We have received no information which substantiates reports of Egyptian troops in Eritrea. Both the governments of Egypt and Eritrea have issued statements rejecting such reports.
