Question to the Cabinet Office:

To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, with reference to the release entitled National population projections: 2021-based interim, published by the Office for National Statistics on 30 January 2024, for what reason the National Population Projections Committee agreed the average of 10 years of historical international migration data including the years ending mid-2022 and mid-2023 on which to base the long-term assumptions.

The information requested falls under the remit of the UK Statistics Authority.
