Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, how many facilities management contracts Carillion plc holds with NHS Trusts.
Information on the facilities management services provided through a Private Finance Initiative (PFI) agreement by Carillion at National Health Service trusts is provided in the table below. Of the 13 PFI agreements, 12 of these were agreed prior to May 2010. These are building maintenance, usually referred to as ‘Hard’ Facilities Management or ‘Hard FM’; and non-clinical support services (one of or a combination of cleaning, portering, laundry and others), usually referred to as ‘Soft’ Facilities Management or ‘Soft FM’.
