Question to the Ministry of Defence:

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what criteria will be applied when decisions are made between competing bids for the design of warships to assessing whether the UK's prosperity agenda is being furthered.

The evaluation criteria for a tendering exercise will be agreed prior to a competition on a case-by-case basis for future warship programmes being launched.
