The Ministry of Justice has published information on prosecutions, convictions and sentencing outcomes for fraud offences in England and Wales up to December 2020, available in the ‘Outcomes by Offence’ data tool, which can be found here: https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/987715/outcomes-by-offence-2020.xlsx.

In the data tool linked above, use the ‘Offence group’ filter to select ’10: Fraud offences’. The number of defendants prosecuted for this offence group will populate row 23, and the number of defendants convicted will populate row 24 of the pivot table.
