Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, if the preparation to deploy HMS Dragon for deployment to the eastern Mediterranean is funded from the Special Reserve.

In her statement to the House on 9 March, the Chancellor confirmed that she had approved access for the Ministry of Defence to the special reserve to deploy additional capabilities in the middle east.
