Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health, when the SelectMDx urine test for prostate cancer will be made available on the NHS.

The future availability of any new or novel tests on the National Health Service, such as the SelectMDx test for prostate cancer, would be subject to large scale clinical trials demonstrating the safety and efficacy of the diagnostic approach and subsequent assessments of its cost effectiveness for routine use.
