The 2017 Autumn Budget confirmed that, in addition to the £15 billion of new funding available for housing, there remains funding for the Starter Home Land Fund which has a gross expenditure budget of up to £1.2 billion over the Spending Review period. This is only one of the measures we have put in place to support first time buyers. We are also helping first time buyers to get onto the property ladder through the Help to Buy equity loan, additional affordable housing funding for shared ownership and rent to buy, and the stamp duty exemption announced in the Autumn Budget.
