The Department is undertaking analysis on the affordability of costs for leaseholders and an update to the analysis will be included in the revised Impact Assessment to the Building Safety Bill. We are committed to protecting all leaseholders from unaffordable costs, including shared ownership residents, and an update will be provided before the Building Safety Bill returns to Parliament.
