Question to the Department for International Trade:

To ask the Secretary of State for International Trade, what recent discussions he has had with the Manufacturing Technologies Association on (a) frictionless trade and (b) the ability to influence international standards after the UK leaves the EU.

Officials from the Department for International trade have met the Manufacturing Technologies Association to discuss a wide range of issues important to the manufacturing sector. This department regularly meets with stakeholders from all sectors to help shape a UK trade policy that works for all.
