The United Kingdom and China hold an annual event called the People-to-People Dialogue which is co-Chaired by the Secretary of State for Health and a Chinese counterpart. Health is included in the dialogue and, each year, a broad range of topics is discussed.

In terms of medicines specific information the 2015 Joint Statement references UK-China cooperation to tackle anti-microbial resistance. More broadly the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency cooperate with the China Food and Drug Administration on medicines regulation.
