This data is not held centrally.

NHS RightCare is a national NHS England supported programme committed to delivering the best care to patients, making the National Health Service’s money go as far as possible and improving patient outcomes. Although RightCare collects prevalence and diagnosis data, no future prediction calculations have been made for England.

The National Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) Audit continues to collect secondary care data. The core aim of the National COPD Audit Programme is to drive improvements in the quality of care and services provided for COPD patients, which is accomplished through five key workstreams, including a continuous audit of admissions to hospital with COPD exacerbation.
