Question to the Department for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities:

To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, what recent discussions he has had with local authorities on the local authority finance settlement.

MHCLG Ministers and officials have regular contact with local authorities and their representative bodies, such as the LGA, on the approach to the annual local government finance settlement and related matters. All decisions on local government funding will be taken as part of the current Spending Review.
