The wait time for learner drivers to get a driving test is unacceptable, we need more examiners, reward them accordingly and incentivise them to do more tests.

Some learner drivers are waiting 5 months for a driving test, this is leading to mainly young people not being able to get their licenses which can lead to them missing opportunities, delaying employment and causing unnecessary pressure and stress for a driving test if they’re able to get one. As a government I would want you to address this and the core problem is there isn’t enough examiners to conduct tests due to low wages and poor incentives to do more tests.
