Russia's invasion has lasted years. Many Ukrainians in the UK are working, studying and raising children here but may have temporary visas and must renew them. Some who claimed asylum worry about extending their Ukraine leave. A dedicated ILR route could give security, reduce casework for the Home Office and could allow people to return to rebuild Ukraine when it is safe.
