Commit to not deploying British Troops to Ukraine

Following recent speculation, we don't want the Government deploying British troops to Ukraine, even as part of a potential multinational force following a ceasefire or peace deal.

The UK has already provided significant financial and military aid for Ukraine, but committing British forces to deployment in Ukraine would risk entangling our country in a prolonged and unpredictable situation.

This could endanger the lives of our service members, escalate tensions with Russia, and divert vital resources from pressing domestic priorities such as the NHS, education, and cost-of-living support for British families.

Instead of risking further involvement in foreign conflicts, the Government should focus on diplomatic solutions, humanitarian aid, and strengthening UK defences and security at home.
