We call on MPs to act with integrity and courage. We believe silence and inaction in the face of injustice betray our nation’s moral duty. A report estimates that 1 in 10 children suffer abuse before turning 16, that is over 3 pupils per classroom. We feel victims’ suffering is overlooked by those in power and tolerated in the interest of budgeting. This must not stand. Protecting children is not negotiable.
