We think the changes proposed in the immigration white paper would affect international students unfairly, harming the UK’s global reputation and competitiveness. We think post-study work and family rights are key factors in choosing where to study. We think not implementing the proposals in the immigration white paper would support inclusivity, education exports, and the UK’s relationship with key partner nations.
