Create a public register of domestic abuse offenders

We think that domestic abusers should be put on a register like sex offenders are. We want there to be an easily accessible website where individuals can search by either name or location, to find those who has been convicted of domestic abuse against previous partners.

The police receive a domestic abuse-related call every 30 seconds.
On average, one woman is killed by an abusive partner or ex every five days in England and Wales. It is estimated that around 3 women a week die by suicide as a result of domestic abuse.

By making the information public, we think it could prevent many women and children having to endure the pain of domestic abuse, as well as saving police time having to disclose under Clare's Law and reduce domestic abuse related incidents and call outs.
