Mandate CCTV in any educational setting that cares for children with SEND

Children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities should be protected in education settings at all times. We believe there should be CCTV to ensure that the right care is always given. We think this needs to be regulated both in specialist provisions and in mainstream school settings.

We believe this needs to be statutory to ensure the safety of all children with Special Educational Needs & Disabilities to safeguard them against any wrongdoings that could occur in an educational setting. This should be statutory in settings with SEND children and where they are kept during the school day. This is to ensure that all adults are following guidelines for how to appropriately look after and care for these vulnerable children.
