Veterans have served under unique conditions, facing risks and hardships on behalf of the country, yet we think are often left with a lack of adequate support or recognition in practical terms after their service. In our view the promises around election time frequently emphasize honor and support for veterans, but these often don’t translate into tangible benefits, leaving veterans frustrated.
