Students taking 2024 exams have experienced significant disruptions in their learning due to Covid lockdowns, self-isolation requirements, strikes, and school closures from RAAC and HACC concrete issues. These issues have had detrimental impacts on the amount of time students have been able to attend school for, which we believe has put them at a significant disadvantage to those who took exams pre-covid. High grade boundaries may disproportionately affect disadvantaged pupils.
