Scrap ban on dog breeds, regulate dog owners and ban euthanasia of healthy dogs

We believe that breed specific legislation doesn't work and goes against expert advice. I want a new law in honour of my bull breed service dog who passed away, who I would not have been here today without.

We need to repeal the XL bully ban and current breed specific laws and create a new law to protect ALL dogs and ensure public safety.

As part of "Nubia's law" I wish the government to make it mandatory for ALL owners of ANY breed of dog to have a license, the dog must also be chipped, insured and have a yearly vets visit and attend a mandatory 10 week socialisation and basic training. As part of this law I also call for ALL a ban of euthanising healthy dogs. This would also ensure tenants with dogs that are currently banned couldn't be evicted for this.
