Parliament should review the maximum sentences for voyeurism and other sex crimes and increase them so that they are more impactful.

Voyeurism can be extremely calculated and involve obtaining a huge amount of content. It can involve factors such as the person being known to the perpetrator since they were a child. Sex offences can receive weak sentences that don’t account for the impact on victims. This needs to change.
