Introduce a bill to make it a fineable offence to post leaflets, flyers, or unsolicited addressed and ‘to the occupier’ or similar mass-produced marketing mail, to domestic or commercial properties with letterboxes marked with a catch-all ‘No junk Mail’ sticker.

I live in a modest terraced house and I’m sick and tired of my home being bombarded by material I don't want to receive. Existing schemes requiring registration every two years (which is a pain) don't deal with casual leafleting and Royal Mail's excuse of a ‘contractual obligation’ to continue to deliver mass produced addressed and ‘to the occupier’ marketing material, when it's unwanted is unacceptable.

Those that wish to receive junk mail etc, simply don't put the sticker on their letterbox.
