Require social media companies add warning to posts containing offensive content

The Government should require social media companies Introduce warnings on social media posts that contain racist, homophobic and misogynistic content. This could be done using similar technology that puts warnings on posts containing information about Covid and vaccines.

In light of recent events regarding the racism faced by England players after the Euro final it is important we make changes to the ways social media is used. Trolling online is very damaging and it is time to put a stop to this.
