This petition was rejected on 26th Apr 2021 for not petitioning for a specific action

The Petition Committee commented:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action. We understand that you are concerned about travel restrictions on British citizens travelling from the UAE, but petitions need to request a single specific action, and your main text of your petition is inconsistent with its main ask. You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do. For example, we could accept a request for either of the changes you mention, or a review of restrictions that could look at both of these. We have published the following petition, which you might like to sign: To remove the UAE off the ‘Red List’ by the Summer: https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/575787

Over 200,000 British Citizens live and work in the United Arab Emirates. Travel is unfeasible due to extremely expensive Hotel Quarantine.

The UAE has a high vaccination rate with doses per 100 people at 97.8 and over 9.6m does administered. The number of cases currently at just 30 in 100,000. Current border controls are extremely damaging to family's with no reasonable and affordable visits.

By enforcing the following the UK government can limit "Holidays" and allow expats to visit family.
