Multi-Level Marketing companies have operated for decades with little regulation. According to the Federal Trade Commission, over 99% of distributors in MLMs lose money after expenses are included.

According to the DSA, 90% of people in direct sales in the U.K. are women. These companies can get people into huge debt, jeopardise relationships and massively impact the mental health of distributors. They need to be more regulated to protect current and potential future distributors.
