Many diabetics (and others) use carb counting to help them control their diet and/or calculate insulin levels every time they eat. Carbs are listed in small print usually on the back of packaging but it would be much more useful if they were listed on the front with other nutritional information.
It should be easy for the information to be added to existing food packaging guidelines and better glucose control could benefit individuals, the NHS and the country as a whole.
