In a call to President Erdogan yesterday (6/10/19) President Trump has given the green light for a long-threatened Turkish assault on Kurdish-held Syria, effectively abandoning its allies who fought with and for the West.

In an article in the Telegraph in 2018 Boris Johnson said it would be an 'utter tragedy' if we did not defend the Kurds. They have fought with the West as allies against ISIS suffering the loss of thousands. Now can he as PM live up to what he said, condemn the US withdrawal and request that the Donald Trump reconsiders.
