Make it the law for all cats to be microchipped

The microchipping of dogs became UK law back in 2016. I am calling for the same protection to be given to cats. Each year hundreds of thousands of cats are injured, lost and killed on our roads, a high percentage of which are often not microchipped. Of the ones that survive, many end up in shelters
