Of course, that is true. We have to move forward; making debating points when these are important issues is not the way forward.

I agree that the Government quite like cost-benefit analysis. Perhaps they could do a cost-benefit analysis of the hon. Member’s proposal for a cost-benefit analysis before deciding whether to support it. That is just a suggestion.

That is an excellent idea. I am, of course, willing to go along with the Government on such a compromise—I thank the hon. Member.
