Commons ChamberAbsolutely. That is a core part of the neighbourhood health offer that this Government are making. We have already announced, in wave 1, a number of neighbourhood health centres; wave 2 will be announced shortly. This is absolutely key to keeping people out of hospital and providing healthcare in local communities.

The unit of dental activity formula is broken, pushing dentists out of the NHS every single day. In Epsom and Ewell, there is a dentist who is restricted from providing NHS dentistry by the UDA quotas. Will the Minister reform the dental contract now, and incentivise NHS dentistry?
The Government remain committed to longer-term reform of the dental contract. We have to look much more at the outcomes that we are commissioning, and not simply concentrate on units of activity, which have not aged well and are part of the problem that we are trying to address.
