(Estimated Final Signatures: 291 - 1 added in the past 24hrs)
We call on the Government to ensure mandatory trauma-informed training and standards for all professionals whose assessments influence decisions in the family courts, including judges, CAFCASS officers, social workers, and court-instructed medical experts.

- 233 Signatures
(Estimated Final Signatures: 286 - 1 added in the past 24hrs)
We call upon the UK Government to implement legislation that replaces life sentences with whole life terms for offenders whose crimes demonstrate the highest level of severity, such as premeditated murder or violent sexual offences, ensuring no eligibility for parole.
Require mothers to list the father (if known) on birth certificate if safe to do
- 41 Signatures
(Estimated Final Signatures: 274 - 4 added in the past 24hrs)
Require mothers to name the father on the birth certificate, if known and safe to do so, ensuring equal parental rights and responsibilities. Fathers with no criminal convictions or history of domestic violence should be granted equal parental rights from birth including 50/50 contact
Reinstate capital punishment for rape or for serious sexual assault
- 172 Signatures
(Estimated Final Signatures: 272 - 1 added in the past 24hrs)
Every day another person is raped or sexually assaulted resulting in physical and emotional trauma, in some cases transmission of diseases or unwanted pregnancy.
Increase the maximum sentence for coercive control to 10 years
- 83 Signatures
(Estimated Final Signatures: 253 - 1 added in the past 24hrs)
Increase maximum sentence for coercive control to 10 years. We want the law to truly reflect the damage this abuse causes. Coercive control can destroy lives, isolate victims, erode their freedom, and leave lasting emotional scars. Many survivors never fully recover.
Ban plea bargains in domestic violence cases if perpetrator has prior conviction
- 246 Signatures
(Estimated Final Signatures: 253 - 1 added in the past 24hrs)
I want the government to put stricter regulations in place that prevent perpetrators being able to enter a plea bargain.
Make divorces where a child is abused automatically eligible for legal aid
- 122 Signatures
(Estimated Final Signatures: 251 - 1 added in the past 24hrs)
Someone who can prove they have suffered domestic abuse is able to access legal aid for divorce, but if the abuse was suffered by a child within the family, even if there are convictions, they have no automatic access to legal aid for divorce. We believe this needs to change!
Automatic 50/50 custody for separated parents without a criminal conviction
- 76 Signatures
(Estimated Final Signatures: 245 - 5 added in the past 24hrs)
Require that separating parents both automatically have equal, 50/50 time with their children, unless a parent has a relevant criminal conviction. We think children need both parents and it would help stop parental alienation, and having parents in a child's life helps them better progress in life.
Change the law so that marriage does not automatically cancel a person’s will
- 40 Signatures
(Estimated Final Signatures: 224 - 3 added in the past 24hrs)
Under the current law when someone gets married any will they made before that marriage is automatically cancelled. Most people do not know this they believe their existing will still stands. But this is not the case if they remarry and die.
Review police powers under section 136 of Mental Health Act
- 68 Signatures
(Estimated Final Signatures: 222 - 2 added in the past 24hrs)
I would like to see the police have more power to help those in crisis in their own homes. Without a warrant, they can only enforce a section 136 if it happens in public.
