We believe everyone who is working should be entitled to the same national minimum wage. Abolish the age groups and make sure everyone is paid at least the National Living Wage that is currently in place for people aged 23 and over.

(Estimated Final Signatures: 178 - 2 added in the past 24hrs)
I propose that all care services should be VAT exempt for all disabled people, regardless of provider and without the need for a care plan written by a doctor or social worker. A simple declaration, as is the case for equipment, should suffice.

(Estimated Final Signatures: 148 - 2 added in the past 24hrs)
I would like the Government to recognise the hard work and struggles unpaid carers go through and change Carer's Allowance to pay carers the minimum wage for every hour of care they provide. Workers are entitled to the minimum wage, and we think carers should be too.

- 79 Signatures
(Estimated Final Signatures: 133 - 1 added in the past 24hrs)
The HMRC Approved Mileage Payment Allowance for the use of private vehicles is very out of date, having been set in 2011. This means some companies are effectively being subsidised by their employees, as and the true cost of operating vehicles is often much higher than these rates.

(Estimated Final Signatures: 99 - 2 added in the past 24hrs)
As Austerity’s funding cuts bite into council finances, they are in serious financial distress and falling like skittles. Nottingham, Birmingham, Woking, Thurrock, Northumberland, Croydon, Slough and Northamptonshire have declared "bankruptcy" (section 114). Many more have stated they are at risk.
