Housing and Planning (Local Decision-Making) Bill 2017-19
The Bill failed to complete its passage through Parliament before the end of the session. This means the Bill will make no further progress. remove powers of the Secretary of State in relation to the location of and planning permission for new housing developments; to give local authorities powers to establish requirements on such developments in their area, including requirements on the proportion of affordable and social housing; and for connected purposes.
