To promote parliamentary and public understanding of the key issues affecting diaspora communities in the UK, and to expand their contributions to international development. The group will connect parliamentarians with diaspora organisations and academics to inform policy on how diaspora contributions can be harnessed for greater impact.

Note: All-Party Parliamentary Groups (APPGs) are informal, cross-party groups formed by MPs and Members of the House of Lords who share a common interest in a particular policy area, region or country. APPGs have no official status within Parliament.
